Born and raised in Georgia, Brittany had the dream to start her own business. Being raised by a successful entrepreneur in her father, she quickly understood the value of hard work, determination and what it what it takes to put those together to chase her dream of opening her own store. That dream became a reality in 2016 when she opened her first brick and mortar in Woodstock, Ga. After two years she opened a second location in Alpharetta, Ga. Offering a place where the entire family can shop and enjoy the selection was a vision she always had for her store. That vision never wavered as she used her years of retail clothing experience to incorporate men's accessories with her apparel selection. This idea stemmed from her attention to detail in noticing there was a visible void in what her dad could get as an accessory when out shopping together. This, combined with the addition of baby gift and apparel is what helps Southern Local stand out from other businesses. Her high standards of guest experience also elevates Southern Local and has made it a community favorite. Her appreciation of every guest that walks through the door is reflected in the emphasis on the genuine interaction between the associates and guests.
